Registered Midwife
As a Registered Midwife with eight years of experience, Kate has cared for women and families across all areas of maternity care in both public and private settings. She is passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood with compassionate, evidence-based care that helps them feel informed, confident, and empowered.
Becoming a mother herself further deepened Kate's passion for supporting and educating families during this significant life stage. She has a particular interest in antenatal education, birth preparation, breastfeeding support, and helping parents navigate the emotional and physical changes that accompany pregnancy and early parenthood. Kate is committed to providing individualised, woman-centred care that ensures every family feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their journey.
Kate is currently completing her Midwifery Endorsement as part of a Master of Advanced Midwifery Practice, further strengthening her ability to provide holistic, trauma-informed care across the perinatal period.
Kate first came to Maternal and Infant Wellbeing Melbourne as a patient, and the exceptional care she received inspired her to join the team. She is passionate about helping create the village that so many parents need, working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting women, babies, and families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, exploring local parks, and sharing coffee with family and friends.
