Hannah Russell

Hannah is a Registered Nurse and Practice Manager at MIWM. She joined the team in 2024 after working in orthopaedic trauma and oncology nursing, where she developed a strong clinical foundation caring for patients with complex medical needs. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Surgical Nursing.

Since joining MIWM, Hannah has discovered a passion for supporting women, babies and families throughout pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Although she loved her previous areas of nursing, she quickly realised that caring for mothers and babies was where she felt most at home. She enjoys building genuine relationships with families and feels privileged to be part of such an important chapter in their lives, whether that's supporting a mother through pregnancy, helping parents feel confident during their baby's first immunisations or connecting women with the care they need to feel supported. Hannah has a particular interest in infant health and is a qualified Nurse Immuniser, providing gentle, evidence-based immunisations for babies and young children.

As Practice Manager, Hannah is proud to support the dedicated team at MIWM, helping create an environment where both patients and practitioners feel welcomed, valued and cared for. She is passionate about contributing to a practice that shares her commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of women, babies and families through collaborative, evidence-based care.

Outside of MIWM, Hannah enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether she's tending to her garden, hiking a mountain, going for a run or playing hockey, you'll usually find her enjoying the fresh air and staying active. She also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and recharging for another week supporting women, babies and families.
