Dr Siobhan Trivers

Dr Siobhan Trivers is a highly experienced GP with a specialist background in paediatrics. She is passionate about supporting infants, children, and parents through all stages of early development, providing calm, evidence-based care when families need it most.

Siobhan completed her medical degree in London before undertaking six years of specialist paediatric training across London and the North East of England. She holds postgraduate qualifications in paediatrics and is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK). After relocating to Australia, she completed her General Practice training in Melbourne and is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Areas of Focus

Siobhan is particularly interested in:

  • Infant and child health

  • Early parenting support

  • Feeding and settling difficulties

  • Sleep concerns in babies and young children

  • Emotional wellbeing of infants and parents

  • Family-centred care

Siobhan brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. As a mother of three teenagers, she understands the realities and challenges of parenting firsthand.

Having experienced unsettled sleep, feeding difficulties, and the exhaustion that can come with infancy, she is deeply empathetic to families navigating similar experiences. She is passionate about ensuring parents feel heard, supported, and reassured.

She has completed additional training in breastfeeding medicine under Dr Amber Hart, as well as:

  • Specialist paediatric training (UK, 6 years)

  • Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK)

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)

Siobhan is also experienced in paediatric pathology and offers this servive at MIWM.

Outside of work, Siobhan enjoys long walks with her two energetic labradoodles, getting lost in a good book, and spending time supporting her three busy children with their many activities.
