Dr Jessica Jose
BMed, FRACGP, SCHP
Dr Jessica Jose is a warm and compassionate GP who enjoys caring for individuals and families across all stages of life. Born and raised in Melbourne’s inner west, Jess completed her medical studies in New South Wales through The University of New England and the University of Newcastle’s Joint Medical Program, graduating in 2016. She went on to complete her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022.
Jess’s early interest in paediatric medicine led her to complete the Sydney Children’s Health Program (Diploma of Child Health) in 2018. Through her clinical work, she discovered that family medicine was the perfect fit—allowing her to combine her love of caring for children and young people with providing comprehensive care for adults. She particularly enjoys supporting families from pre-conception and pregnancy, through birth, childhood and beyond.
Jess has a special interest in women’s and children’s health, from talking about breastfeeding, troubleshooting bedwetting or constipation, all the way to contraception, painful periods and mental health. Dr Jess has up-skilled in breastfeeding medicine under Dr Amber Hart. She has also completed the NDC Clinical Breastfeeding Support Masterclass and the Unsettled Infant & Parent Mental Health Masterclass to support mums and bubs with breastfeeding support and sleep and settling. Jess is also trained in Implanon insertion and removal.
Outside of work, you might find Jess and her hubby at a café finding yet another delicious coffee spot to add to their brunch list.
