Dr Jessica Jose

Dr Jess Jose is a caring and approachable GP who supports individuals and families through every stage of life.

Raised in Melbourne’s inner west, Jess completed her medical degree through the University of New England and the University of Newcastle’s Joint Medical Program, graduating in 2016. She went on to achieve her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022.

Jess has always had a strong interest in children’s health, completing the Sydney Children’s Health Program (Diploma of Child Health) in 2018.

Over time, she found her true calling in family medicine, bringing together her passion for caring for children, young people, and adults. She especially enjoys supporting families from:

  • Pre-conception and pregnancy

  • Through birth and newborn care

  • Into childhood and beyond

Areas of Interest

Jess has a special interest in women’s and children’s health, including:

  • Breastfeeding support

  • Infant sleep and settling

  • Contraception

  • Painful periods

  • Mental health

She has completed additional training in breastfeeding medicine under Dr Amber Hart, as well as:

  • NDC Clinical Breastfeeding Support Masterclass

  • Unsettled Infant & Parent Mental Health Masterclass

Jess is also trained in Implanon insertion and removal.

Outside the clinic

When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Jess exploring Melbourne’s café scene with her husband—always on the lookout for a great new coffee spot to add to their brunch list.
