Dr Marina Borkisenko
FRACGP, CWH RANZCOG, SCHP, AMC, MD
Dr Marina Borisenko is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with a special interest in women’s health.
She is a warm and approachable GP who is passionate about supporting women through every stage of life — from adolescence and first periods through to perimenopause and menopause. Dr Marina provides thoughtful, evidence-based care across menstrual health, contraception, fertility, pregnancy and postnatal care, pelvic pain (including in teenagers), vulval health, and menopause support.
She has a particular interest in perimenopause/menopause care and vulval conditions, areas she recognises are often under-discussed or overlooked. Dr Marina understands that many patients may feel unsure about raising sensitive concerns, and she is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful space where women feel comfortable, listened to, and supported.
Dr Marina has completed the Sydney Child Health Program and continues to build her skills in infant and children’s health. She is not currently providing support for breastfeeding or sleep and settling concerns.
Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in medical education as a Medical Educator and Clinical Competency Exam (CCE) examiner with the RACGP.
Outside of medicine, Dr Marina enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
