Dr. Sarah Case

General Practitioner Registrar

Dr Sarah Case is a dedicated GP Registrar completing her final stages of GP training here with us at MIWM.

Dr Sarah Case is a compassionate and caring doctor with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health. Since completing her Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University in 2018, she gained broad clinical experience through a variety of hospital rotations at Eastern Health, before going on to complete a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2022.

Sarah is now in the final stages of her General Practice training and is thrilled to be joining the Maternal and Infant Wellbeing Melbourne team. Her approach to care is patient-centred, empathetic, and tailored to the individual’s need. Sarah enjoys the breadth of general practice but her particular areas of interest include adolescent physical and mental health; management of period concerns; contraceptive and reproductive planning; pregnancy and postnatal care; support for unsettled infants and early parenting concerns; and guiding women through the peri-menopause transition. Sarah is excited to further hone her expertise in maternal and infant wellbeing and looks forward to continuing to support her patients during some of the most meaningful (but at times challenging!) moments in their lives.

Outside of medicine, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and two young children, sewing, reading and is currently learning to play golf.
